OFF-SEASON TRAVELS
From Milwaukee to Monaco
After the season ended, I gave myself about a week in Milwaukee to decompress. Just me, my dogs, and some time to process everything that happened.
Sometimes you need that space to reset before diving into what's next.
Then it was straight to Florida: my offseason home base and honestly the best time of year for me. There's something about being down there that just hits different.
The energy, the weather, the whole vibe.
But the real highlight? The Monaco Grand Prix.
This has become one of my favorite traditions over the past few summers. The atmosphere is unreal, the food is outstanding, and it's just a magical experience every time. There's nothing quite like it.
From there, I headed to Lake Como for something completely different: my first Global Business Summit with Vogue.
Getting to speak in front of people about topics I'm passionate about was incredibly fulfilling. It's always cool when you can step outside basketball and connect with people on different levels.

HIDDEN GEMS
Finding Those Perfect Spots
This trip, I stayed near Nice in a little area called Cap Ferrat.
What I loved most were these small restaurants and cafes right by the marina harbor. That's my thing when I'm overseas—finding somewhere I can just sit, have a coffee, and enjoy the moment.
There's something about those quiet spaces that recharges me.
No rush, no agenda, just good vibes and taking it all in.

SUMMER PLANS
Training Hard and Turning Thirty
This summer is all about training.
I'm excited to have a healthy offseason where I can get better every single day. That's the mindset I'm locked into right now.
But the real highlight? My 30th birthday.
I'm currently planning what's going to be an absolute circus.
This is probably the last birthday until I'm 40 that really means something, so we're going all out. It's going to be special.

BACK TO THE GRIND
11 Days Off and Ready to Work

Here's the thing. I only took 11 days off after the season.
That's probably the shortest break I've taken in recent years, but I had a bitter taste in my mouth with how everything ended for us and for me personally.
I wanted to get back to work and attack this summer.
Training has been going good. I've been in the gym consistently, and at this stage of my career, turning 30, it's more about maintaining my body and making sure I can maximize my performance during the NBA season.
The approach has shifted too. When I was 26, 27, 28, I was spending a lot of time lifting heavy weights and building that foundation.
Now, I'm pretty much where I need to be from a strength and body perspective, so it's more about attacking basketball and getting more time on the court.
It's all about being smart with how I prepare.
The work never stops, but the focus changes as you get older and understand what your body needs.
Until next time,
Kuz
